General Information

The following services and information are available at the Telford Borough Police Department Administrative Office, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Accident Reports

Accident reports can be obtained from the police department directly. There is a $15.00 fee for all accident reports. You can pay your accident report fee by cash or check made payable to “Telford Borough Police Department”.

Police Incident Reports

Police incident reports can be released under the Pennsylvania Right to Know Law by completing a “Right to Know” form available at police headquarters or downloaded from the Resources page. The charge for an incident report is 25 cents per page.

Parking Tickets & Citations

Parking tickets may be paid by mail by sending a check or money order, along with the parking ticket, to the Telford Borough Police Department, 100 Penn Avenue, Telford, PA 18969.

All traffic and non-traffic citations must be paid by pleading “guilty” on the citation and then sending the fine and costs listed to the District Court listed on the citation. Those who wish to request a hearing for any traffic or non-traffic citation should plead “not guilty” on the citation and then send that part of the citation to the District Court.

Fingerprinting

The Telford Borough Police Department no longer provides fingerprinting services. If you are in need of being fingerprinted, for personal or legal reasons, you can make an appointment with the Towamencin Township Police Department Processing Center, 1090 Troxel Road, Kulpsville, PA 19440. Please call 215-368-7606 to make an appointment.

Solicitation & Vendor Permits

Solicitor or vendor permits can be obtained on the Resources page or at the Telford Borough Office, 50 Penn Avenue, Telford utilizing the following guidelines:

  • If you are planning on soliciting door-to-door attempting to sell a product where you will be taking payments or deposits, or distributing pamphlets or business flyers, a permit and fee payment is required. You will need to present a form of government issued photo identification (driver’s license, photo identification card, passport) at the time of application.
  • If you are soliciting for non-profit or charitable organizations or groups, there is no charge with the permits. However, you must still register with the borough office and each individual must have identification and will be issued a permit card at the time the application is approved.
